The Friends of the Lafayette Public
Library Spring Book Sale will be Wednesday through Saturday at the Heymann
Convention Center Ballroom. Friends Night (for Friends members only; memberships
may be purchased at the door) will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Public sales
are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Books will be priced by the inch:
paperbacks are 50 cents an inch, hardbacks $1. The money helps provide
supplemental funding to the Lafayette Public Library System and helps pay for
projects not covered by the Library’s regular budget.
In addition, the Friends’ Silent
Auction will be ongoing through April 4 at the South Regional Library at 6101
Johnston St.
