Baton Rouge's One Book events continue

The East Baton Rouge Parish Library kicked off this year’s One Book One Community (OBOC) season celebrating “The Hound of the Baskervilles” by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle with an after-hours street party last month. Partygoers braved the “London-style” rainy and overcast weather to release the hounds with food, games and prizes, music performed by street violinists Wael and Anna, plus area groups including the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab, the Capital Area Beekeepers Association (CABA), Opioid Prevention Alliance for Ladies & Girls (OPAL), Capital Area Animal Welfare Society (CAAWS) and more.

The fun isn’t over, and the calendar is full of free programs and events, including book discussions, movie screenings, escape rooms and a host of other exciting happenings. To see a full schedule, visit www.ReadOneBook.org.
