University of Louisiana at Lafayette Press offers 12 new releases at its Nov. 1 Book Showcase

In conjunction with the release of its Fall 2017 titles, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Press will host the 2017 UL Press Book Showcase at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the UL Alumni Center, 600 E. St. Mary Blvd. in Lafayette. All of the titles published by UL Press during 2017 will be available for purchase at the event and several authors will be on hand to sign copies of their books, including former Louisiana Gov. Buddy Roemer, musician Zachary Richard, artists Emma Fick, Denise Gallagher, Paul Schexnayder and Dennis Paul Williams; photographers John Slaughter, Emile Waagenaar, and Joseph Moran; writers Anne Butler, John Warner Smith and Dennis Ward; as well as many others. This event is open to the public and there will be live music and refreshments.
